The network public opinion of the emergency has a great impact on the society. It is very important to grasp the development of hot events in real time for the timely handling of the public opinion supervision department. In this paper, based on the information of the hot event obtained by the reptile, the gray correlation coefficient in the grey theory is used to sort and optimize the hot event, and the resolution coefficient is analyzed by disturbance, so as to predict the hot event and make corresponding Countermeasure, reduce or eliminate the negative impact of emergencies on society, prevent problems before they happen. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the method
